Into the thick of it…

Hello, and welcome to my blog.
The first thing that I want you to know is that I’ve thought long and hard about why, when, and how I would approach blogging again. And, to be frank, there were times when I thought about not…the reasons were voluminous and yet irrelevant.
At least all but one: I had somehow managed to tell myself that no one wanted to read my musings; the difference between then and now is that I am A-OK with it now. I know that I cannot be all things to all people, but my goal is to be something for someone across a number of topics.

So, what is this blog about? It’s about a number of things. It’s about me attempting to become a better architect. It’s about me fine-tuning my craft on the Salesforce platform. It’s about me learning to tell better stories. It’s about my #roadToCTA. It’s about learning to become a better mentor and coach. And yes, occasionally, it will be about me lifting heavy things and putting them back down repeatedly.
Whether we’ve connected on a professional level, we’re real-life friends, whether we’ve connected through my past in martial arts, or through fitness circles, or even if you somehow randomly stumble upon this blog unintentionally — I’m glad that you’re here, pull up a chair and have a cup of coffee.

Thank you for reading, and I’d love to hear from you so please drop a hello and any other thoughts in the comments.

🙂

Best,
-CM

So excited for this! We haven’t connected 1 on 1 but you are so active within IBM’s Salesforce Practice and on LinkedIn. You genuinely seem like someone who cares about others and I can’t wait to read more of what you post here. It’s also very brave!

    1. You know, John — you highlight a very easy mistake to make; not everyone knows every niche acronym! I’ll try to remember that going forward!

  8. Hi Chris — I’m looking forward to following your CTA journey. What’s your publishing goal? Weekly? And how technical do you plan to get?

    1. Hi Neil, thank you for commenting! Initially, my goal is to publish every 2 weeks. As far as how technical, it depends on the topic. Some things naturally lend themselves to in-the-weeds detail and others do not. I hope to see you around more!
